About Us
The Sooke Skating Club is a non-profit ice skating club that offers skating programs for all skill levels, from beginners to competitive figure skaters. Located at SeaParc arena - serving the Sooke area. The Sooke Skating Club is run by a group of volunteers.

Coaches
Garry Knox
Garry Knox comes to Sooke with 30+ years of coaching experience with skaters
from pre school to national level. Garry is a NCCP Level 3 Certified Skate Canada
National Ranked Coach. He has coached many skaters from their preliminary to a
quad gold status.
Garry has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Physical Education and Recreation
and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with National Strength and
Conditioning Association.
Garry is a father of 3 grown children who live in Calgary, Alberta.
His basic philosophy of coaching is; skaters learn most effectively when the
environment is organized, fun and supportive and is goal orientated.
Garry very much looks forward to contributing to the figure skating program in
Sooke, BC.
